Our client Duane Roberts, 39, has defied the recession to expand his Zucci brand and he’s harnessed the power of the internet to make a mark on the world stage. The shop owner and his life and business partner, Amy Powell, now have three stores, two in Wrexham and one in Southport.
Thanks to the Zucci website, they have online customers as far afield as Australia, Japan and America who are keen to snap up their high end designer clothes.

According to Duane, Coxeys have played an important role in helping them to achieve their expansion goals. He said: “We have had fantastic support from Coxeys and their associate book-keeping company, Business Essentials. When we first started we didn’t use Coxeys – we had an accountant that was a nightmare. So, when we went across to Coxeys, it was just like a breath of fresh air. They are very professional. They have given us invaluable help and expert guidance which has helped us concentrate on what we are good at.”

Anthony Lewis said: “We are delighted that Coxeys and Business Essentials have been able to play a part in the Zucci success story. I have nothing but admiration for the way Duane and Amy have continued to survive, thrive and expand during what has generally been a difficult period in the retail sector. Their growth is testament to their determination, in-depth knowledge of the fashion business and their vision, which has included harnessing the power of the internet.”
